Lea Bay

Attorney

With more than 25 years of executive healthcare leadership experience, Lea Bay brings a unique combination of operational insight, strategic leadership, and legal knowledge to her practice. Lea served in multiple leadership and executive administration roles with Gwinnett Health System in Gwinnett County, Georgia, ultimately becoming President of Gwinnett Medical Center-Duluth while also serving as Senior Vice President of the health system. During her tenure, she led the planning, development, construction, and operational transition from Duluth’s legacy hospital campus to a new state-of-the-art healthcare facility designed to better serve the growing community.

Lea earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Emory University, as well as both a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Health Administration from Georgia State University. She later graduated cum laude from University of Dayton School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree.

During law school, Lea served as a Legal Professions Teaching Assistant and completed an externship with the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Georgia Attorney General. She currently serves as an adjunct professor teaching professional responsibility and also works as a bar passage advisor for the University of Dayton School of Law.
